Strip, measure, rebuild. The heavy internal work done properly rather than patched.
What this involves
The engine comes out and comes apart, and components are measured against specification rather than judged by eye.
Worn parts are replaced, not cleaned up and refitted. It goes back together to torque, is run in, and is checked under load before the car returns to you.
